Crazy Creek Air Adventures hosted the Greenpeace "hot-air" blimp for three days of pilot and crew training.

LCAA member Damon Trimble flew Ms. Mandy Feder, Managing Editor at the Record-Bee newspaper, to Crazy Creek in his Mooney for this sunrise launch.

The blue propane tank on the side of the "cabin" is used to inflate the blimp and is then removed prior to take-off. The two red tanks are used in flight. To control the pitch of the ship, one red tank (and gas-burner) is for the front of the bag, the other for the aft section. The blimp does not have a movable elevator, but does have a movable rudder.

The craft is powered by a two-cylinder Rotex that can push the beast along at 12-knots. The cabin seats four.
